Welcome to this month’s Creative Corner! We’re excited to share some hands-on activities our 3 and 4 year olds have been enjoying. These projects spark creativity and enhance learning. Here’s a peek:

Popsicle Stick Houses

Our kids loved building miniature houses with popsicle sticks. This activity developed fine motor skills, basic construction concepts, and creativity as they decorated their unique creations.

King’s Birthday Crown Craft

To celebrate a “King’s Birthday” theme, the children made crowns with colored paper and gems. This craft improved fine motor skills and encouraged imaginative play.

Spelling Game with Flash Cards

We used flash cards for a fun spelling game. The children matched items with corresponding letters, enhancing letter recognition, phonics, and early spelling skills.

Math with Felt Tree and Apples

Using a felt tree and apple cutouts, the children practiced counting and number recognition. This hands-on activity made learning numbers interactive and enjoyable.

The children have enjoyed these activities. Each is designed to blend learning with play, ensuring skill development and fun. Stay tuned for more in our next blog post!

Happy crafting and learning!
