Am I Eligible

A frequently encountered question pertains to the eligibility criteria for accessing NDIS services. We provide guidance to help individuals navigate through these criteria, making it easy to determine their eligibility for NDIS support.

The primary responsibility of the NDIS Commission is to improve and safeguard the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services.

Ensuring the safety of supports and the suitability of registered NDIS providers is paramount.

Aspiring individuals or companies seeking NDIS provider status must fulfill predetermined suitability criteria or eligibility requirements.

If both you and your key personnel, including board members and senior managers, meet the specified NDIS eligibility criteria, you are eligible to apply for NDIS Registration.

Neither you nor your key personnel have any convictions for indictable offences.

Additionally, none of you have experienced insolvency under administration or been a Chapter 5 body corporate under the Corporations Act 2001.

No adverse findings or enforcement actions have been taken against you, and you have not been disqualified from managing corporations under Part 2D.6 of the Corporations Act 2001.

Moreover, neither you nor your key personnel have been subject to adverse findings or enforcement actions by any Commonwealth, State, or Territory department, authority, or public-purpose body. There are no findings or judgments related to fraud, misrepresentation, or dishonesty against any of you or your key personnel.

Furthermore, there are no undisclosed matters that the NDIS Commissioner may consider relevant in assessing your suitability.

In numerous instances, minor offenses or past bankruptcies with a discharged status will not impede meeting the NDIS eligibility requirements.

If you are a non-Australian resident visiting for study or travel, it’s essential to confirm that your visa permits business registration.

For more information on eligibility for NDIS when you are not an Australian citizen, please refer to the Australian Business Government website.

Certain NDIS registration groups may necessitate specific qualifications or accreditation from regulatory bodies like AHPRA or professional organisations such as ACA or PACFA.

If you are uncertain about the qualifications required for the services you intend to provide, consider scheduling a call with our expert team.

They can provide guidance on NDIS eligibility in a clear and straightforward manner, leaving no room for confusion.
